My Once More

Oregon
Portland Eugene
I'm taking it all in
What made me in my time in America
trees will shed and new leaves will grow
the rain would fall and the sun will soak up the rain
the flowers will bloom and then fall
however, one that grew and set root in my heart
and create in me a world
a world that will exist and one that I feel am most blessed to have exist
are every person I connected with
learning who they are, their culture, their uniqueness  and their diversity
so much has my heart and mind open
I feel that my very soul has turned from a faded portrait to one painted over with
vibrance of colour and reason to life.

one of the many things I will miss...
my dear Mika, one who instantly puts the smile on my face and makes me laugh
taught me true compassion that puts my contentment and ignorance to shame

There's really no other like Mika, really special

Who could guess my Hong Kie friend here who happen to be one of the first few friends I truly connected with of whom we do share the same values. It was a blessing to find that commonality.
aha.. and at the last moment I meet Singaporians. This one here is dear to me, wish time was mine to have I would love to know her more and develop a friendship that I had with the rest.

Here my latino friend, a sublime to my heart. Made me feel loved and a true friend indeed. You know she's got your back.

I had a Eugene bucket list and this is the highest ranked, CAMPING + WALL CLIMBING
Thank you Julia!!! She made it happen.
I was camping in the end of fall and beginning of winter, you may think what in the world I'm doing right.... its called desperate.

Starry clear sky night.

I say that I was SUPER SCARED when I climb this rock, SMIth Rock.
Thought I was going to die or something. It is NOTHING like the indoor climbing gym. NOTHING.
YOu can't see the next choice of rock ahead of you. You only have tiny little parts of the rock jutting out for you to step on and put your WHOLE weight on to trust it and climb up.
Whenever I said that I don't know where to go or what to do Julia would say
UP
What a good way to see life also, if you don't know where to go and what to do
and you're really scared
move forward because there it is the ultimate destination forward ahead.

Portland. My first stop before my life in America begin for school and a chapter here.
I got myself a buddy to teman me :) and tick off my 'Once More' in Portland checklist.

One more time a picture of my on Hawthorne bridge, this time in fall and night time.

Once more in Jimmy Maks, the jazz club that makes my heart jump every second for the love of music I have and taken into my longing for its beauty of melody and rhythm .
the drive to Multnomah Fall
is the most beautiful and breathtaking ride I'd ever had.
the colour of fall could never display itself any richer to bring us to awe of how incredible God as an artist. My uncle Wil said that each tree has its own character. Could imagine the more than a million tree with its own character?
Wow, how much more could you imagine God would have put in creating us, each with one's own character.

Hope I'll see you again Portland. Oregon

Control+Option/alt+Command

As I held on to my camera and looking for things to take then my lens show upon the screen the keys you see everyday on your computer. Those very keys made me think about the things God has spoken to me.
I realize that, yes God is in control, He is more than enough but in our lives we always have that option/alternate button and have been pressing on it.
To live out and experience God's promises and the blessings that comes with it means to obey His very command.
Am I still pressing the option key?
Maybe it's time to press the command key :)

all american past time~~Go Emerald~~

There they are the Emeralds!! Go Eugene. OH.... that bear can dance, almost got a picture with the bear but he went after a lady selling beer. should have bought one and entice him over.

Here it is the baseball stadium, its bigger than what I see on TV. I never taught that the pitcher was so far away, really takes a lot to throw the ball. Gosh, the ball travels super FAST. As Andy said like 90m/h and as a batter you have a matter of seconds to decide if you're gonna take the swing. Being an umpire is crazy also... sAFE!!no... oUT...
Here we are, all american past time with friends. Love the colour of the sky.
So the game lasted from 7-10+pm, it was fun least I had my ice-cream and see some home-run and close homerun when the players were merely on 3rd base.
Hit and Run... run Forrest run ( that was random). Love it when they slide on the sand and all the dust will fly. Then you see the umpire sweeping the base plates, hehehe...Reminds me of chicken little.
 Strawberry and wine!!?... :)
At the end, I had 3 baseball hats/ice-cream cups for souvenirs, and no I didn't eat 3 cups of ice-cream the serving was humongous.
